I have to say, this is probably the best USB storage device I have ever owned! I used to have flash drives, but you can't necessarily put too much on those, so I decided to buy this external hard drive. I have not had any problems with it at all and it is very sleek looking. I'm in college, so I needed something that was reliable and easy to transport, and this is one device that I absolutely love. Its quiet, has a very sleek appearance, and the price was excellent. Plus, its made by Seagate. They specialize in making excellent hard drives, so, where can you go wrong?

This thing is amazing!
Pros: Small, sleek, cord doesn't fall, price, massive amount of storage, quiet, not an annoying light.
Cons: Limited to USB transfer speed, made in china?
This little gadget is so small. Just years ago I got an MyBook for a high price, with 300gb, and it was the size of a Harry Potter Book. Now this little piece of sunshine is cheaper, holds 500gb, and is only about the size of a deodorant stick; amazing. Also I can see me reflection in it, that could be a plus. Finally, it does not have a huge annoying light that blinds you every time it is working. It simply has a small green light that lets you know it is on, otherwise, sense it is so quiet, you might not have known. It is made in china, so beware lol. In Summary, if you need more storage, Seagate is where you should start looking.

I've been wanting an external for a long time, but the price just wasn't right. Caught this during the holidays and couldn't pass it up. Being it's my first external, I have nothing to compare it to, but I am pleased with my purchase. Great portability, lightweight, and big amount of storage. I was worried about compatibility with a Mac, but it works seamlessly between Mac and PC. Would consider purchasing another in the future.
